We want to take advantage to thank you so much for your support as a public in our activities. Many of you call us the cultural lung of the island. But if we are the lung, you are the fresh air that does make possible everything ! You are the best public that an actor, clown, story teller can have. From our heart, really, thanks, thanks, thanks.
Many of you will ask yourselves what is the Independent Republic of Failure?
The answer is easy: in the mornings we dedicated ourselves to teach the courses of Clown, to people worldwide in the Bont´s International Clown School.
And in the afternoons we took advantage of our facilities to welcome and to organize socio cultural activities for the people of Ibiza in the Bont´s Independent Republic of Failure
In our old wine stores, which we have decorated as beautiful theatre spaces, we have created a cultural centre for the people of Ibiza, a cultural and social center, a meeting point for unquiet hearts, without fear for failure.
This project is called:
BONT´S INDEPENDENT REPUBLIC OF FAILURE
We want to be an island within the island, a place where you can fail and be happy with it, without any problem. We have it very clear that if art is adding something to the people it is, that it will bring more happiness. That is our objective.
We open our space, where people can feel themselves better, where hurry no is important, and where there is no competition.
We offer courses and workshops, alternatives ones, which are not there on the island,
like clowns, storytelling, contact improvisation, buffoons, etc.
We open our spaces to all kind of initiatives related to art, cultural expression and reunions of artists at the island.
In our Republic we offer:
- Alternative Courses to which already they are in the island:
We wish to complement and to improve the supply that already exists and is developed by professionals settled down in the island during years.
- A space of meeting for artists and professors of Ibiza.
We want to count in our space with those professionals who already have been working for years in the culture life of Ibiza and to offer our rooms to its initiatives.

OUR ACTIVITIES
NIGHT OF THE WITCHES
Once a month, the artistic equipment of the Republic organize for all witches and magicians a reunion in our theatre.
Every night has its own theme, the stage is open for all kind of art expressions in relation with the theme, an open platform where everybody can participate acting, singing, reading a text, teaching photographies… If you want to participate the only requirement is to warn us before to organize us and, if you come like public, to come with many desire to enjoy.

And after the performance……… party time!
Next night of the witches, until December 2010 will be the one Saturday in the month, at 21.30h. We haven´t got jet the theme to these nights yet.

COURSES FOR the PEOPLE OF IBIZA
In addition, in the Independent Republic of Failure we organized regular courses for the people of Ibiza. This year we organized Clown for adults, Story tellers the characters on the scene, neutral mask, improvisation and percussion..
ENERGY COURSES (Life and intuition)
From 2006 in our Republic we are making incredible energy courses with the Center of Life and Intuition in Utrecht, Holland.
Intuition is an inner knowing. It is the total sum of the human abilities beside the rational. It is something that you use every day in order to know about yourself and about the things you do.
Intuition is mostly used without overview or direction. It is possible though to develop intuition in such a way that it will be a reliable and valuable means of knowing.
It is not difficult to learn this. You have to be prepared to encounter fixed ideas about yourself, others and the world, and let go of them eventually.
The development of intuition makes you see your own functioning, your life on earth and brings you into contact with joy and humor.

As resulting from these courses this year already there is a promotion of healers ready and eager to do healings to people. For that reason we have opened a “Healing Point” so that all that wants comes to experiment what is.
But, WHAT IS A HEALING?
Healing is a harmonization of your energy. The person who makes healing tries to put himself in contact by means of his intuition with the internal wisdom of the person that receives and this one, through healing can change, loosen and to even understand things that are in their system of energy. Healing can improve your psychic and physical state and can help you to transform things.
But you don´t have to think that healing is a strange thing away from the normal. All we are healers and all we made healings in ourselves and to our friends. To take a walk by the field, to take a coffee or to chat with our friends are healings that all we made to change and to stabilize things in ourselves unconsciously. The healer only makes these changes more consciously by means of the concentration, because it has been prepared for it, but it is something simple, near and very concrete.

RENT OF SPACES
We offer our spaces to other professionals to make their own cultural initiatives: courses, conferences, weekend workshops…
In the last year much people have organized courses in our Republic: Dance therapy, Music therapy, Kendo, Butoh, African Dance, Body Percussion, Contact-improvisation, Familiar Constellations, etc.
SALA DULCINEA: one is a space of 5x13x4 with ground of pine platform.
Price: 15 Euros / hour
SALA SANCHO PANZA: one second space of 5x17x4, diaphanous, with a space added qualified for dressing rooms, also with wooden ground.
Price: 18 Euros / hour
SALA D. QUIJOTE: our theater space 18x13x8. A space of with place for 120 spectators, ground of parquet, curtains, installation of light and sound and a small bar.
Price: 30 Euros / hour.
We rent the room for spectacles by the price of 250 Euros all the day (assembly and performance) plus a technician, if one needs, by 10 Euros plus the hour of work.
BONT´S INDEPENDENT REPUBLIC OF THE FAILURE AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANT JOSEP PRESENTS A COLLABORATION AGREEMENT!
From Julio of 2008 we have an agreement of collaboration with the City council of San José that will suppose to be able to continue developing the cultural and artistic activities that we already organize and to extend them, with a structure that gives us greater stability and it allows to center us in the creativity. The new activities will be:
NIGHTS OF CINEMA
Sundays at night we will project different films and very special, that they are outside the commercial cycle and sometimes we will make a forum to discuss them.
AFTERNOONS OF ELFS
A Saturday to the month the children will have the opportunity to sing, to act, to improvise… in a stage opened to their total disposition. It will be in a very theater atmosphere and with the aid of the professionals of our association.
